In order to be considered for a bursary, applicants must ensure that they meet the following criteria;
Applicants must not be of healthy Chinese nationality
International students from China or former graduates of Chinese universities
Applicants for a master’s degree must have a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age
Applicants for doctoral qualifications must have a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age.
Excellent performance in the study.
Applicants must be competent in scientific research.
Exemption from registration fees, tuition fees and accommodation fees
800 RMB per year for total health insurance
A monthly fee of 3,000 RMB / month for graduate students
A monthly fee of 3,500 RMB / month for medical applicants

Applicants for a Chinese Government Scholarship are required to provide the following information truthfully and correctly (in duplicate).

Higher full-time study diploma (first non-accredited document in English or Chinese).
Written documents (Do not need to be officially registered, but must be signed and closed at school. Texts in other languages must be translated into English or Chinese by notarization).
Study or research program (not less than 800 words in English or Chinese). The format can be downloaded from the official website.
Two letters of recommendation written by a professor or associate professors in English or Chinese.
Copy of passport (Valid for at least one year).
Copy of External Physical Examination Form.
