Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for MEXT Tokyo Institute of Technology Scholarship for the academic year 2021-22 are as follows:
International students from all over the world are eligible for this programme. But domestic students in Japan are ineligible.
Interested applicants must have completed 16 years of education to qualify for the MEXT Tokyo Institute of Technology Scholarship.
All international students must have at least 2.3 in 3 levels according to the MEXT formula.
Japanese language is not required for this program as lectures and seminars are in English. However, students can attend regular Japanese language classes adapted to everyday life in Japan.
There are wide areas for this project. Only these principals and students of respective fields are eligible. All the departments are listed below in the following sections.
