Romania Government Scholarships 2022-2023 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. These courses are available for undergraduate, masters and PhD students. Romanian Government bursaries will cover full tuition, accommodation and a monthly stipend of up to 80 EURO.
Every year, the Government of Romania, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides a number of bursaries to citizens of non-EU countries. Only students with good academic results, in terms of average school years, at the last graduate school, at least 7 (seven) with a Romanian scoring system or “Good” points, as appropriate.

Applicants can choose their preferred study program in all fields, with the exception of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. For Bachelor and Master, only Romanian learning programs are available, thus enhancing the Romanian language and culture. However, at PhD level, applicants may also choose an English or other language course set by a medical school. A year of preparation in Romanian is also given before enrolling in a preferred study program, for those who do not speak Romanian. Required documents include diplomas, documents, birth certificate and passport, CV – all specified in the application process.

Scholarship Coverage
The Romania Government Scholarships will provide the recipient with the following benefits:
Scholarships;
Funding for accommodation costs, within the budget of the Department of Education, within the scope of the assistance set for this purpose (accommodation will be provided according to the level of accommodation available);
Providing monthly financial assistance, as follows: equivalent to “lei” (Romanian currency) amounting to 65 EURO, for graduate students and students of the preparatory year; equivalent to “lei” (Romanian currency) worth 75 EURO, for professional students, equivalent to “lei” (Romanian currency) worth 85 EURO, for PhD students.
Scholarships do not cover the cost of international travel and domestic transportation from the Romanian border crossing to the university. In this regard, candidates must be prepared for personal financing of additional costs.

Qualifications for Romanian Government Studies
To qualify for the Romania Government Scholarships, a candidate must meet all of the following requirements:
Eligible countries: International students from non-EU countries other than the following:
citizens of Romanian origin or who are part of Romanian history communities near Romania (entitled to various scholarship programs);
citizens who have requested or received some form of protection in Romania;
uninhabited persons whose residency in Romania is legally recognized;
members of political officials and officers or family members of political officials and officials authorized in Romania;
members of the administrative and technical staff of the embassy machinery and embassy approved in Romania;
employees of Romanian-based international organizations or family members of Romanian-based international organizations;
beneficiaries of a bursary from the Romanian province for the same study cycle.

How to apply for the Romania Government Scholarship
Please follow the following application instructions to apply for this course:
(1) Complete all the sections of the online application form
(2) Upload the following documents:
Copies of diplomas obtained (baccalaureate or equivalent diploma, as well as bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate degree, if applicable) and their authorized translations into English, French, Spanish or Romanian, if applicable.
Copies of transcripts of completed courses and their authorized translations into English, French, Spanish or Romanian, if applicable.
Copy of birth certificate (or similar document) and authorized translation into English, French, Spanish or Romanian, if applicable.
A copy of the first three pages of a national passport or identity document and an official translation of English, French, Spanish or Romanian, if applicable.
Curriculum Vitae in English or French as required, as well as a medical cycle and a letter of intent from the applicant in English, French, Spanish or Romanian.
(3) The application shall include the following documents (only the candidates who are part of the specified part of each document):
Copy of proof of change of name (if any) and authorized translation into English, French, Spanish or Romanian, if applicable.
A copy of a bachelor’s degree, bachelor’s or master’s degree, if possible, for undergraduate and graduate students with an official translation of English, French, Spanish, or Romanian
