Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Requirements Below are the requirements for the Leiden University scholarship for 2024 in the Netherlands.
- The study language for the LexS scholarship in the Netherlands is English.
- For LexS, all overseas students are entitled to apply.
- For this award, international students from non-EU/EEA nations are eligible.
- The master’s programme applicants must have received top grades in their preceding coursework relevant to the programme they are applying for. A clue can be found in the fact that the student included 10% of Graduate students in their earlier academic programme. Note: Ranking information is provided to demonstrate the level of competition; it is not required to confirm ranking.
- Applicants must hold a non-EFTA / non-EEA * passport and may not be qualified for aid through the Dutch System Study Grant and Loans (StaffFinancing), except those applying for MSc in LLM Advanced Studies programmes or in International Relations and Diplomacy, for which there are no nationality restrictions.
- All applicants must follow the Dutch visa regulations.
- Only students registered as full-time students at the University of Leiden for the whole period of the Student Study Programme are qualified to utilise LEXS.
- While enrolled at the University of Leiden, each candidate will actively participate in several efforts to develop LECS.
- The student must accept the given Lex Scholarship by turning in the “Acceptance Form LES.”
- The LExS cannot be used with any other Leiden University scholarship.
- Before granting the scholarship, the LESS verifies that the beneficiary has agreed in writing and is following all the requirements.
Benefits of the Leiden University Scholarship 2024:
The following three advantages are available to Leiden University Scholarship (LexS) recipients:
- €10,000 is the cost of tuition.
- €15,000 is the cost of tuition.
- The mandatory tuition fee is subtracted from the total tuition.
