While students cannot combine HAN scholarships, they can combine a HAN scholarship with a scholarship from another organization. The scholarship is paid in 2 terms: March and September. HAN scholarships in Netherlands Benefits

Study In Netherlands HAN Scholarships will provide selected candidates with the following benefits depending on the type of scholarship they have received:

  1. HAN Holland : up to €12,500 (for Bachelor students) and up to €5,000 (for Master students);
  2. Awards: up to €7,500 (for Bachelor students) and up to €2,500 (for Master students);

    For these scholarships, you will receive €2,500 in the 1st semester and €2,500 in the 2nd semester. After that (for Bachelor students only) you can get €2,500 per year for the next 3 years of study. To get this, you must continue to earn the required 45 credits each year.

Honors Scholarship

The Honors Scholarship is different. You don’t have to ask for it. The academic board of the study program selects students with excellent academic results in the 1st year. Payment starts at €2,500 in the 2nd year. After that (for Bachelor students only) you can get €2,500 for each subsequent year of study. To achieve this, you must earn the required 45 credits each year.

  • To apply for HAN scholarships, candidates must meet the requirements. This means you have:
  • not previously enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands;
  • accepted to study full-time English at HAN;
  • IELTS score of at least 6.5, TOEFL iBT score of at least 90 or Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE);
  • are nationals of a country outside the EU/EEA.
